Their journey along the way is filled with death, of which they long for a different life.  A wonderfully brilliant feminine retelling of Beowulf. Strong female characters that portray ruthlessness along with compassion and humanity.

Recommended for grades 8 and up. A must get for Fantasy collections. Possibility of a continuation.
