Bedtimes can be tough, especially for busy little bulldozers. Even when they think they are ready for bed, it can be difficult to wind down. Created with Adobe Photoshop art and pencil, the illustrations are imaginative and adorable with tiny human parents and a larger than life “little” bulldozer. The color palette is filled with moody blues and purples that lend themselves to a sleepy time story.  The text is minimal on each page with the pictures helping to tell the story. A particularly sweet two page spreads shows the dozer with his headlights on reading to his stuffed animals. After following a pretty standard bedtime routine to help with sleep, the little dozer finally scoops up all his stuffed animals and his blanket and heads to his sister’s room where he is finally able to doze off.  An especially interesting and humorous bedtime tale for those little ones who love construction vehicles.  For children ages three to six.
